We would strongly advise that patients who are able use on line access to order repeat prescriptions and view their  test results - you are able to book routine doctors telephone appointments and flu immunisation appointments on line now.

The NHS APP is extremely simple to download- doesn't involve visits to the practice to verify any identification (you can simply scan your documents)  we find it much simpler to use than other on line access portals. Going forward it is our preferred way to access online services.

We are currently going through some changes in the way we issue your repeat medications.

In the future your regular repeat medication will be requested automatically by the surgery on your behalf. These will be marked (RD) on your prescription. Medication that you request occasionally can be requested in your usual way.

For more information see Information regarding repeat dispensing

If you receive repeat prescriptions you will be asked to have regular medication reviews. Please click here for more information

Medication reviews

Please note you are unable to request a medicine not appearing on your repeat prescription list, you will instead need a clinical review. Please call reception or dispensary to arrange this.

Requests WILL be rejected  unless they are on your repeat list -

If you have a problem with your log in or password please follow the online instructions.

The surgeries are able to dispense to patients who live more than a mile from the nearest pharmacy.

If you need a regular prescription 28 days supply will be issued. Exceptions are the contraceptive pill and HRT (3 monthly). Your doctor will not usually need to see you each time. Information on the tear off portion of the green prescription (known as the right hand side) or on your medicine labels will keep you informed as to when you need any routine tests or examinations. From July 2018 we are moving to a system where annual checks will be in your birthday month- to move towards this, this year checks might be late or early.

It is important that you attend for these checks to ensure your medicine is being tolerated and is still appropriate.

Patients who need to reorder should use the repeat slip attached to their last prescription or order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple one-off registration.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year, within your birthday month, to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

48_hoursPlease allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
